Privacy policy
It's great that you're interested in bop. Protecting your data matters to us — here's a short, clear overview of what data we process and why.
Who is responsible?
The party responsible for data processing on this website is unite – Software Development GmbH, Andergasse 38 / Haus 12, 1170 Wien, Austria, email: office@unite.co.at.
What data do we store when you sign up?
When you sign up for news about bop, we store your email address or phone number, your chosen language and your consent. We use this data only to inform you about product updates and the launch of bop (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
What happens to contact form requests?
When you write to us via the contact form, we use your details (name, email address, phone number if provided, and your message) only to answer your request.
How do you unsubscribe?
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to us via the contact form — we'll delete your data right away.
Where is your data stored?
Our servers are located in the EU. Your data is not shared with third parties and not transferred outside the EU.
How do we measure visitor numbers?
We count page views with our own cookieless statistics directly on our server — without third-party providers. No cookies are set and nothing is stored in your browser. Visitors are only counted via an anonymous numeric code that changes daily; your IP address and browser identifier are never stored, and recognising you across several days is technically impossible. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding how our website is used. No cookie banner is required for this.
Do we use cookies or tracking?
This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies and no third-party analytics services. Only one technically necessary cookie is set, which stores your language choice.
What are your rights?
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data. Just get in touch with us. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority (dsb.gv.at).
